the color of my heart

Here's a question for all you lovely folks! What do A) Morticia Addams B) Elvira and C) Me! have in common?

Answer:
Apparently an overzealous colorist who mistakes "warm it up a bit" with "how dark do your swatches go again?"

I don't shed tears over hair. It grows. But this? This nearly broke my sad, little heart. I've washed it a thousand times since Saturday, so now it's straw-ish in addition to the, uh, other little problem. Thankfully, in my vain attempts at internet research, I've learned the ONE shining benefit of well water! It leeches color. I'm still waiting.

Any other tips from you, my brilliant readers, on how to remedy this ridiculously expensive 'mistake' shall we call it? Aside from hunting down the stylist responsible for this mishap and ripping her intestines through her tiny little nose with my own bare hands?

go to a hair dresser and ask them to stip it out. I doubt I need to say this, but go to ANOTHER hair dresser.

I'm sorry. That totally sucks.

Oh that stinks. Unfortunately, I got nothing in the remedy department, as the spiral perm I sported for a brief time in the late 80's made me swear off chemical treatments of any sort forever. Maybe a citrus rinse of some kind? Although, it is close enough to Halloween that you could get a kick-ass Elvira costume and vamp it up. Heh.

Go back to the salon that you went to and demand that they fix it to your liking. Be a hardass. C'mon, you can DO it!

Ohhhh nooooo she didn't. How awful!I've had a few color mishaps in my hair history, two that particularly stand out in lovely shades of green and gray. I agree, I would ask for it to be fixed, especially if it's the same place you always go to for cuts and colors. SURELY they would fix their mistake for a loyal customer.
